This new extension to a detached 1912 Edwardian house creates a seamless link between house and garden. This was achieved through floor to ceiling glazing maximising the natural light. Slender structural steel columns concealed inside the brick colonnades provide stability and support the roof structure above. Tapered reveals beneath the rooflights are created using a steel frame hidden within the roof structure.
